M acArthur Place is easy to locate, and is only 45 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge, 25-30 minutes from the Santa Rosa area, and approximately 1½ hours from the San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento airports.

From San Francisco Airport:

  • Exit Airport onto Highway 101 North to Highway 380 West to Highway 280 North
  • Follow Highway 280 (stay to your left) and take the 19th Avenue Exit lane
  • Follow 19th Avenue, which will flow into Park Presidio Blvd. and onto the Golden Gate Bridge
  • Cross the Golden Gate Bridge following 101 North
  • Turn right on Highway 37 (East) towards Vallejo/Napa/Sonoma for eight miles to the second signal light
  • Turn left on Highway 121 and follow eight and one-half miles to Highway 12
  • Continue right at "Y" junction of highway 116/121
  • Turn left on Highway 12 towards Sonoma
  • As you enter the town of Sonoma, turn right at the third stop-light (MacArthur Street) just past Sonoma High School
  • The entrance to MacArthur Place is the second driveway on the right hand side of the street

 From Oakland Airport:

  • From the Oakland Airport, take Heggenberger Road to I-880 North
  • Exit to Highway 580 west and cross over the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge
  • Exit to Highway 101 north
  • Turn right on Highway 37 (East) towards Vallejo/Napa/Sonoma for eight miles to the second signal light
  • Turn left on Highway 121 and follow eight and one-half miles to Highway 12
  • Continue right at "Y" junction of highway 116/121
  • Turn left on Highway 12 towards Sonoma
  • As you enter the town of Sonoma, turn right at the third stop-light (MacArthur Street) just past Sonoma High School
  • The entrance to MacArthur Place is the second driveway on the right hand side of the street

From Sacramento:

  • Take I-80 West toward San Francisco
  • In the Cordelia area, exit onto Highway 12 going West (towards Napa/Sonoma)
  • Turn right at the third stop light and continue traveling on Highway 12, which briefly joins Highway 29
  • Turn left at the exit for Highway 121/12 towards Sonoma
  • Turn right at the sign marked Highway 12 to Sonoma
  • As you enter the town of Sonoma, turn right at the third stop-light (MacArthur Street) just past Sonoma High School
  • The entrance to MacArthur Place is the second driveway on the right hand side of the street

From Contra Costa: 

  • Take Highway 680 north across the Benicia Bridge and continue for 12 miles toward Cordelia
  • At Highway 80, go east and take the Highway 12 west exit
  • Turn right at the second stop light and continue traveling on Highway 12, which briefly joins Highway 29
  • Turn left at the exit for Highway 121/12 towards Sonoma
  • Turn right at the sign marked Highway 12 to Sonoma
  • As you enter the town of Sonoma, turn right at the third stop-light (MacArthur Street) just past Sonoma High School
  • The entrance to MacArthur Place is the second driveway on the right hand side of the street

From Santa Rosa:

  • Take Highway 12 towards Sonoma
  • As you pass the Maxwell Village Shopping center on the right, continue on Highway 12 which curves to the left and becomes West Napa Street
  • After entering the Sonoma Plaza Area, turn right at the stop sign at Broadway
  • Continue down Broadway for a few short blocks and turn left at the first stop-light, which is MacArthur Street
  • The entrance to MacArthur Place is the second driveway on the right hand side of the street
