A destination wedding in the heart of Northern California’s wine country is a storybook affair, with ever-lasting memories to share for years to come. Whether it’s the seasonal farm to table meals perfectly paired with wine grown and produced just down the road, and shared family-style across a long farm table al fresco. Or the effortlessly elegant and meaningful ceremony held in a picturesque and verdant garden setting with your closest friends and family, or your entire cadre of comrades. Or maybe it’s the setting, steeped in the rich history of Sonoma with its Victorian and Mission architecture, historic vineyards, founding wineries and of course, the year-round beautiful weather. No matter what, an intimate Sonoma elopement is sure to spark a myriad of magical memories.
Meredith & Victor
One such intimate Sonoma elopement was that of Meredith and Victor, held on the bucolic grounds at MacArthur Place. This lovely couple was looking for a unique and special place to elope, with their immediate family joining in on the celebration. As a wedding planner at the time, Meredith knew that an elopement would provide the opportunity to experience their dream wedding, on an intimate scale. Meredith and Victor’s wedding was beautifully captured by local Sonoma wedding photographer, Jessica Burke, and the couple has generously shared select photos with us.
