Experience a Woodworking Workshop with MacArthur Place Artist in Residence, Aleksandra Zee. Aleksandra will be installing her new wood artwork the week or January 13th and will offer a Cutting Board/Cheese Board Class following the installation.
Cutting Board / Cheese Board Class
An immersive step-by-step workshop diving into the beginnings of woodworking. Learn how to carve, chisel, sand, cut and finish your own cheese board and enjoy a wine and cheese pairing directly after the class.
Duration:
This is a 2-hour workshop. Attendees will be guided step by step through creating a walnut cutting board/cheese board. Each attendee will learn how to carve, chisel, sand, and refine their cutting board.
Goodies:
Each attendee will walk away with their new cutting board, a Klein tool bag fully stocked with wood conditioner, sandpaper, a ruler, pencil, notebook, shop rag and signed copy of my book The Way of the Woodshop.
Cost: $180 per person. No woodworking knowledge necessary
