Join the Sonoma Valley Authors Festival at Authors on the Plaza, a free, family-friendly event for the Sonoma community hosted by the Sonoma Valley Authors Festival on Saturday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m Set under the trees on the historic Sonoma Plaza, the 2024 event features David Grann author of The Wager and Killers of the Flower Moon, celebrated Irish author and essayist Colm Tóibín, and Bay Area native Amy Tan, author of The Joy Luck Club and her new book, The Backyard Bird Chronicles.
Bring a picnic or purchase food and beverages from the many restaurants that border the square. Don’t forget a blanket or beach chairs. A small number of folding chairs will be available on a first-come-first-served basis for those who sitting on the ground is too difficult.
