We’re teaming up with Banshee Wines on September 17th on the Layla patio for a winemaker dinner that’s anything but ordinary. Delight in an immersive tasting event with six bold wines, six chef-curated stations and Banshee Winemaker Jake Lachowitzer, ready to share the stories (and secrets) behind the bottles. Open Studio with Artist-in-Residence Carrie Crawford

As part of our artist-in-residence series in partnership with Uprise Art, we welcome Fairfax-based artist Carrie Crawford to MacArthur Place. As a painter and textile artist, Carrie’s work focus on working with indigo and other natural dyes. Her organic shapes result from a series of dips into various vats of wild-crafted and handmade dye. Inspired in part by raw landscape and felt experience, her work attempts to link land and body through earthen materials. Observe as she creates a specific piece for MacArthur Place.

We invite you to drop in for an open studio visit 10am – 12pm Tuesday, November 7th to meet Carrie and see her in her artistic element.
