Open Studio with Artist-in-Residence Dan Covert
As part of our artist-in-residence series in partnership with Uprise Art, we welcome Brooklyn-based artist Dan Covert to MacArthur Place. Dan utilizes a graphic language of organic and decisive forms, and his work explores structuring and ordering these abstract shapes so they appear composed, yet spontaneous. His process leverages digital techniques to sketch and iterate forms, which he ultimately renders with meticulous detail using analog means.
We invite you to drop in for an open studio visit Wednesday, July 10th from 3pm – 5pm to meet Dan and see him in his artistic element.
Open studio will be held in Coach House 2. No reservations are required; drop-ins are encouraged. Email Dare Sturges with any questions.
