Open Studio with Artist-in-Residence Eddie Perrote
As part of our artist-in-residence series in partnership with Uprise Art, we welcome New York-based artist,
Eddie Perrote to MacArthur Place. Drawing on this aesthetic sensibility, Eddie’s paintings employ bold
abstraction, text, and vivid use of color to explore personal narrative. His work draws on a range of influences
including hand-painted signage and ephemeral graphics, photography, textiles, tapestries,
Byzantine paintings, and Gothic architecture.
We invite you to drop in for an open studio visit 12pm – 2pm Tuesday, April 2nd to meet Eddie and see him in his artistic element.
Open studio will be held in Coach House Salon 1. No reservations are required; drop-ins are encouraged. Email Dare Sturges with any questions.
