We’re teaming up with Banshee Wines on September 17th on the Layla patio for a winemaker dinner that’s anything but ordinary. Delight in an immersive tasting event with six bold wines, six chef-curated stations and Banshee Winemaker Jake Lachowitzer, ready to share the stories (and secrets) behind the bottles. Open Studio with CHIAOZZA | Wednesday October 13, 5-6pm | Coach House Salon 1

We are excited to kick-off our new Uprise Art artist-in-residence series with Brooklyn-based art duo, CHIAOZZA (Terri Chiao & Adam Frezza). Using Play as a collaborative tool to explore the intersection of the natural and imagined worlds, Terri and Adam create fantastical works of art that incorporate unusual textures and unexpected forms. Humor, color and pattern intersect to immerse the viewer in the artists’ world of wonderment.

Drawing inspiration from our property grounds and wine country surrounds, Terri and Adam will create a site-specific piece for MacArthur’s permanent collection. We invite you to drop in for an open studio visit Wednesday October 13 from 5-6pm to meet CHIAOZZA (rhymes with “wowza” and “yowza”) and see the artists in their element.

Open studio will be held in Coach House Salon 1. No reservations are required; drop-ins are encouraged. Please limit to 8 guests in the studio at once and masks are required. Email lparlato@macarthurplace.com with any questions.
