Celebrate the advent of the holidays in Sonoma with a festive series of marvel and wonder-filled moments at MacArthur Place. Each day reveals a different experience that piques the curiosity, awakens the senses and connects the community.  We welcome hotel guests and the local community to experience these marvelous Sonoma holiday events.

Pours at the Porch: Holiday Edition with Ledson

Espresso Martinis with Evil Bean & Wolf Coffee
November 29, 2025 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Join us for one of our favorite annual traditions, we partnered up with two companies, Evil Bean & family owned and operated Wolf Coffee to serve up everyone’s favorite – Espresso Martinis – at the Bar at MacArthur. Sip, chat, and be merry and then wander down to the Lighted Tractor Parade which begins at 6:30pm. No reservations; first come, first served.

Kivelstadt Cellars Pop-up
December 6, 2025 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Our fun and festive friends at Kivelstadt Cellars will host a holiday pop-up highlighting fan favorites from their portfolio (they’re known for their Rhone-style wines, interesting Mediterranean varietals such as Carignane and Charbono, as well as bright expressions of mainstays such as Sauvignon Blanc) paired with scrumptious bites by our culinary team. No reservations; first come, first served.

S’mores & Hot Toddy with Charles Goodnight Bourbon
December 13, 2025 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Sip on the MacArthur take on classic Hot Toddy cocktail with our partner, Charles Goodnight Bourbon and roast S’mores at the firepit. Guaranteed to put one in a festive and cozy mood! No reservations; first come, first served.

Hand-Painted Ornament Workshop with Artist Alex Cole*
December 14, 2025 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Let’s get into the holiday spirit, gather together and get back to the art of the handmade gift, no art experience necessary. Local Sonoma painter and mixed media artist, Alex Cole, will guide you step by step to create one of a kind heirloom ornaments and gift cards for the Holidays complete with a gift box. Your thoughtfully made gifts can be kept for personal merriment or gifted to a special someone this holiday season. Come away with two finished ornaments per person. Porch Light Series: Italian
December 17, 2025 @ 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Join us for the next installment of our Porch Light Series, a pop-up dining experience at MacArthur Place, featuring Italian specialities. Dine in at Layla alongside our regular dinner menu or pre-order takeout to savor this indulgent meal at home for a night off from the holiday festivities.

Meet Santa Claus
December 20, 2025 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

The one and only Santa (real beard and all!) along with his favorite elf helper will take center stage in the lobby of MacArthur Place on Saturday afternoon. Come and whisper your holiday wishes to Father Christmas, you will then have three days to ensure your spot on the nice list. No reservations; first come, first served.


The Festive Nights Sonoma holiday events have been created to bring the spirit of the season alive for MacArthur guests, Sonoma locals, and visitors alike. The Bar at MacArthur and Layla are open and accepting reservations each evening, so we invite you to stay for a seasonal cocktail or a bite after each Twelve Festive Nights event.
