The interior design scheme at MacArthur Place is impeccable. It stands out with minimalist forms that meet a warm beige palette and a collision of natural textures, from linen and leather to marble. It’s breathtaking, and it’s found in each of the 64 rooms and suites, the latter of which have fireplaces that provide warmth on cold desert nights. Now that we’ve fawned over the look of the hotel, we can zoom out to some of the other impressive features: a spa, a Mediterranean restaurant, and a coffee shop. Its location is also superb, just four blocks from Sonoma Plaza. You could hardly ask for anything more from a wine-country hotel.
