Sonoma's Newest Sanctuary

MacArthur Place Hotel & Spa launched the final phase of its multi-year transformation that originally began in 2019 with the property-wide guest room refurbishments and all-new culinary outlets. This final stage of the renovation includes a renewal of the property’s spa and fitness center, its outdoor pool space, and the addition of five guestrooms, including an all-new Artist's Cottage.

Refreshed Spa

Upon completion, the reimagined Spa at MacArthur will highlight three new spa suites, tranquil spaces, product lines, therapies and treatments all inspired by the property’s natural setting, connecting guests to the roots of Sonoma.

Artist's Cottage

Also included in the renovation project will be an all-new Artist’s Cottage, tied to the hotel’s timeless tradition of celebrating independent artists from around the country, and bringing together one-of-a-kind curated collaborations with local partners across Sonoma and Napa Valley.

During this transitional period, MacArthur Place remains open to the public and looks forward to welcoming locals and visitors to all three of its culinary outlets - Layla, The Porch, and the Bar at MacArthur, plus the Spa will continue to provide an array of facial and massage treatments. This final phase of MacArthur Place steeped in new and refreshed spa and wellbeing spaces will come to a close early Fall of 2023, marking the completion of the 4-year property-wide transformation into Sonoma’s newest sanctuary.
